What is Omega 3?

Omega 3 are so-called unsaturated essential fatty acids. This means that the addition of this fatty acid is vital for our body. The body cannot produce these fatty acids itself from its own compounds, which is why intake through food or supplementation is essential.

Why eating fish alone is not enough!

Omega 3 can be found in two different forms

  1. once, the somewhat inferior variant, the ethyl ester
  2. and once the high-grade variant, the triglycerides.

Omega 3 is very temperature sensitive and can therefore oxidize very quickly and become worthless if stored and delivered in insufficiently cool conditions.
